1719 Museum

The 1719 Museum is part of the Mennonite Life campus and celebrates the oldest surviving Mennonite house in North America — the Christian Herr House, built in 1719 from sandstone quarried on-site. Christian Herr was a prominent leader in the 18th-century Mennonite community, and Indigenous Peoples taught the Herr family how to hunt, clear forested land, and identify native plants. The museum brings early American Mennonite life to vivid reality through guided tours, exhibits, and a rich archive of Lancaster County history.

Biblical Tabernacle Experience

Cherry Crest Adventure Farm

Where family fun and farming come together! Cherry Crest Adventure Farm in Ronks is a premier destination for family fun in Lancaster, PA, owned by the Horst family who have been farming in Lancaster for generations. Activities include a world-famous adventure corn maze, pumpkin patch, big slides, farm animals, petting zoo, tractor rides, apple shooter, sunflower fields, seasonal festivals, and a general store. Choo Choo Barn

Since 1961, people from across the country and around the world have come to visit the Choo Choo Barn — Traintown U.S.A.® in Strasburg. The 1,700-square-foot model train layout features over 180 hand-built animated figures and vehicles and 17 operating trains. Demuth Museum of Art

The Demuth Museum of Art in downtown Lancaster celebrates the life and work of Charles Demuth (1883–1935), one of America's foremost Modernist painters and a Lancaster native. Historic Rock Ford

Minutes from downtown Lancaster but 200 years away, Historic Rock Ford features the circa 1794 General Edward Hand Mansion and the John J. Snyder, Jr. Gallery of Early Lancaster County Decorative Arts. Set on 33 acres within Lancaster County Central Park, the estate offers guided tours of the outstanding late-Georgian mansion, furnished in exquisite period style, alongside a nationally recognized collection of Lancaster County decorative arts from circa 1760–1820. Julius Sturgis Pretzel Bakery

Founded in 1861, the Julius Sturgis Pretzel Bakery in historic Lititz, PA is the first commercial pretzel bakery in America — and the Sturgis Family is the oldest pretzel baking family in America. Visitors can tour the original bakery, get a hands-on lesson in pretzel twisting, observe bakers twisting old-fashioned soft pretzels by hand, and shop for delicious treats and souvenirs. Kreider Farms Dairy Tour

The original homestead farm established in 1736, Kreider Farms offers 90-minute dairy farm tours that take visitors behind the scenes to discover how farm-fresh milk, eggs, and ice cream make it from farm to table. Landis Valley Village & Farm Museum

Pennsylvania's museum of Pennsylvania German history, heritage, lifeways, and farming, Landis Valley Village & Farm Museum has been preserving history since 1925. National Toy Train Museum

Home of the Train Collectors Association since 1977, the National Toy Train Museum in Strasburg is a world-class toy train destination for kids of all ages. The museum features seven operating, interactive train layouts in G, Standard, O, S, and HO Gauges, plus a Replica Lionel D-265 and LEGO layout. National Watch & Clock Museum

The National Watch & Clock Museum in Columbia, PA features North America's largest collection of timepieces from all over the world — from primitive to space-aged. Old Windmill Farm
